“Artemusica is not some amateur extracurricular choir. They are an incredibly talented pool of highly trained, highly accomplished choral singers, musicians, and soloists who would have been equally at home at Royce Hall (UCLA), The Hollywood Bowl, or Disney Hall as they were at the San Pedro performance. In point of fact, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if many of them have, in fact, performed at those other locations.” – Jeremiah Knight
ArteMusica was founded in 2011 as a group of non-professional singers under the direction of Maestro Ermanno Zotti. It now counts 30 talented, semi-professional members, each of whom shares a passion for beautiful choral music and a commitment to excellence. The chorus is a true melting pot of nationalities, ethnicities and cultures, with members from many European countries, South America and the U.S.A., all united in their love for music.
The ArteMusica choir has a classic 4-voice structure, accompanied by professional musicians and soloists, with a repertoire from the Baroque and Romantic Periods, including masterpieces by Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Rossini and Verdi.
Events: ArteMusica has been invited to perform on Dec. 24th, 2012 at the 54th L.A. County Holiday Celebration. The show was broadcast live from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on KCET-TV. We have performed in the 2013 Italian Festa della Repubblica event with Verdi’s “Va’ Pensiero” and the Italian and American national anthems.
Concerts: Past concert performances include Mozart’s “Requiem” in March 2013 and November 2014, Gioachino Rossini’s “Stabat Mater” in October 2013, a Baroque Concert with Handel’s “Dixit Dominus” and Vivaldi’s “Gloria” in March 2014, and several community and cultural events in the Los Angeles area. Programs have included Dvorak’s “Gloria from the Mass in D Major,” Op. 86, “Ave Maria” by Jacob Arcadelt, “Cantate Domino” by Giovanni Croce, “Jubilate Deo” by Anselmi, the Italian classical hymn, “Gran Signor” (anonymous), Verdi’s “Va Pensiero” and other classics.
ArteMusica operates as a tax-exempt, non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the International Revenue Service code.

It was a very beautiful experience to sit in the church here in Pasadena, California and be bathed in all those beautiful voices -both human and other. A treat. I can see why you are all so committed to this choir. […] Some of my favorite moments were the acappella ones – there is something beautifully haunting and transcendent in just a chorus of voices. – Melanie Ciccone
