ArteMusica was founded in 2011 as a group of non-professional singers under the direction of Maestro Ermanno Zotti. It now counts 30 talented, semi-professional members, each of whom shares a passion for beautiful choral music and a commitment to excellence. The chorus is a true melting pot of nationalities, ethnicities and cultures, with members from many European countries, South America and the U.S.A., all united in their love for music.

The ArteMusica choir has a classic 4-voice structure, accompanied by professional musicians and soloists, with a repertoire from the Baroque and Romantic Periods, including masterpieces by Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Rossini and Verdi.

ArteMusica was invited to perform on Dec. 24th at the 54th L.A. County Holiday Celebration. The show was broadcast live from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on KCET-TV.

Past performances include Mozart’s “Requiem” in March 2013 and November 2014, Gioachino Rossini’s “Stabat Mater” in October 2013, a Baroque Concert with Handel’s “Dixit Dominus” and Vivaldi’s “Gloria in March 2014, and several community and cultural events in the Los Angeles area. Its programs have included Dvorak’s “Gloria from the Mass in D Major,” Op. 86, “Ave Maria” by Jacob Arcadelt, “Cantate Domino” by Giovanni Croce, “Jubilate Deo” by Anselmi, the Italian classical hymn, “Gran Signor” (anonymous), Verdi’s “Va Pensiero” and other classics.

ArteMusica operates as a tax-exempt, non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the International Revenue Service code.
