UPCOMING ARTEMUSICA BAROQUE CONCERT
ON MARCH 7, 7.30PM
ArteMusica was founded in 2011 as a group of non-professional singers under the direction of Maestro Ermanno Zotti. It now counts 40 talented, semi-professional members, each of whom shares a passion for beautiful choral music and a commitment to excellence. The chorus is a true melting pot of nationalities, ethnicities and cultures, with members from many European countries, South America and the U.S.A., all united in their love for music.
The ArteMusica choir has a classic 4-voice structure, accompanied by professional musicians and soloists, with a repertoire from the Baroque and Romantic Periods, including masterpieces by Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Rossini and Verdi.
Past performances include Mozart’s “Requiem” in March 2013, Gioachino Rossini’s “Stabat Mater” in October 2013, and several community and cultural events in the Los Angeles area. Its programs have included Dvorak’s “Gloria from the Mass in D Major,” Op. 86, “Ave Maria” by Jacob Arcadelt, “Cantate Domino” by Giovanni Croce, “Jubilate Deo” by Anselmi, the Italian classical hymn, “Gran Signor” (anonymous), Verdi’s “Va Pensiero” and other classics.
ArteMusica operates as a tax-exempt, non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the International Revenue Service code and is awaiting its final determination letter.
